2005-06-14 [pixish]: Depending on what program you are using - I always jus take a screenshot of the Elftown page and then open it photoshop and use the eyedropper tool thingy to pick the colours and then save them :)

2005-06-14 [Ocean Dreaming]: If you use PS's eyedropped it'll give you the HTML code though. That's probably what [pixish] is trying to say. It used to be listed on the page, but the colour value output differed for people, so it was removed. If you want to know the value Deis had on his computer, you need to look through the old versions. If you want to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you're right - you need to screencap it and check it with an advanced graphics editor.

2005-06-14 [Ocean Dreaming]: You press print screen when the browser window is visible. Then go to PS, open a new file and paste the clipboard information into the new file. ^-^ It should, if you've done it right, set the new image size to your resolution.

[Hedda] must have made Elftown compress .gifs to get rid of animated images, which is making background compressions too (at least for your priv, unless you're just doing it incorrectly; it should work fine). But only GIF / PNG support transparency, and PNG isn't supported very well by all browsers.
